| Introduction | Jesus Loving, Helpmate to Billy and Unschooling, freebirthing mama to eight wonderful kiddos (6 here and 1 with Jesus) and pregnant with a new little blessing due in June 2015! I believed God placed me on this Earth to be a Wife and Mommy. Having a large family is something I've always wanted and yes, I want more. I find joy in watching my children grow and learn everyday. I love to see them living their lives seeking and living for Christ above all else. I want them to show gentleness and kindness to others on a daily basis and it warms my heart to catch them doing so. Glory be to God! |
| Interests | I am a pro-life, pro-breastfeeding, intactivist, extended nursing lactivist and believe that is the way that God created it to be. I choose not to vaccinate my kids.They have never even had tylenol. I am proud that I trust their bodies to heal themselves without intervention. I know that if the day ever comes when they will need medicine that it will work because they will not have built up immunity to antibiotics. I choose to not circumcise my sons. I lived in ignorance once, but not anymore. I have co-slept with all five of my blessings since birth until they were ready to sleep in their own bed. Rylan is almost 17 and I promise he does not still sleep in our bed. They are only little once and I want to enjoy every moment of it! |
| Favorite movies | We are Cable TV free home, but enjoy Netflix. I'm not really a movie person, but if I had to choose I'd say The Princess Bride. |
| Favorite music | Mostly Christian Music. David Cowder is one of my favorite Christian singers and Kieth Green reminds me of my childhood. I also enjoy Ballad Music from singers like Joan Baez and Pricilla Ahn. |
| Favorite books | God's Word and memorizing what it says, Misson to Motherhood by Sally Clarkson and Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Both of these are amazing biblicaly based books that have changed my life! I am currently reading Birthing From Within by England & Horowitz. It's a little on the "zen spiritual" side, but I enjoy the artwork and birth stories and of course all the novels we read together while homeschooling our five kiddos! |
