| Introduction | During the school year I am a part time school psychologist, but 365 days a year, I am a mother of 2 (4 years old and 20 months). I have always loved the curiosity that comes with childhood and love to watch my own children explore and get excited about the smallest things. I have learned from motherhood, that rearing children is completely different than working with them in a school setting. These children are mine. These children don't go home to their parents when I get tired or frustrated with their behavior. I am their mother! However, like working with kids in a school setting, behavior and teaching is trial and error, and the persistence is motivated by love. This blog chronicles our life and our "learning" (both child and parent) one mistake (and success) at a time. |
