| Introduction | Some background...I am an American who has been fortunate enough to have done most of my growing up in various assorted places. Several years have been spent in the following parts of the world: UK, the Southern US, the Middle East, the Northeastern US, and Washington DC (which is a nation unto itself). I worked in the Capitol for 5 or so years doing an assortment of work (depending upon who I was working for at the time -- political, NGO, for-profit international industrial, government relations, etc. etc.). A number of years ago, I left that world and now do something completely different. My proclivities for international machinations have not dried up however. This blog is my sounding post. |
