| Introduction | I was born February 23, 1974 in New Brunswick, NJ, first generation American-Filipino. I live in Mount Kisco, NY with my husband Dennis and son Randall. I have practiced art for all of my life. I attended a four year collegiate art school at the prominent, School of Visual Arts in New York City. I was a Silas Rhodes Grant recipient. I received my BFA in Fine Art and Art Education in 1997. In 2004, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Having been employed with a variety of jobs and not actively pursuing a career in art, cancer was a life affirming experience. I have been cancer free since 2005. I have a series of part-time jobs. I am studying drawing at The Art Students League of Art, working part-time in retail, and being a domestically challenged housewife. |
