Political Umpire

About me

Gender Male
Industry Law
Location London, United Kingdom
Introduction The Political Umpire's present pavilion is in London, England, though I have roots from the other side of the world, primarily New Zealand. I work in the law, and my other interests include politics, ethics, film, television, wine, music, sport and the greatest achievement of humanity, cricket. I am I suppose classically liberal in outlook in most respects, but adhere to no political party or particular group of any form. I am interested in logical argument and consistency, not slavish adherence to dogma, party directives, or short term political expediency. I love cricket more than any particular cricket team, though I support New Zealand and England in that order. I like music, wine and films and have no interest in whether my tastes are fashionable or snobbish; I just like what I like. If perchance your tastes happen to coincide, I hope you will find something interesting on this site.
