About me

GenderFemale
IntroductionI married my best friend in September of 2005. He is my everything. I have a beautiful step daughter, who has been a true blessing to have in my life. I started this blog because I'm good at typing and I have lots of random thoughts that I find entertaining throughout the day. Maybe if I go back and read them later I'll figure out why I am the way I am. I'm looking forward to everything life has to offer me and my family in the future. Especially this year, it's going to be an amazing year, I can't wait!
InterestsMy husband, our home - decorating it and making it feel like a home, soccer, football, scrapbooks (which I haven't done in a long time) Laundry...wait, is that an interest? Whatever. I'd like to get into cooking, but I hate my kitchen so that's not going to happen anytime soon. Oh, the beach. I love the beach. LOVE the beach. I could live on the beach if I had the choice. The sand, water, sun...just something about it, makes me a happy girl.
Favorite moviesI'm not sure I have one favorite movie. There are a few that will stop me in my tracks when walking by the TV, like Pretty Woman. I think I've seen that movie at least 60 times. Carlito's Way is another one. To pick one would be crazy though. What about all the hilarious movies out there? I'm a big fan of comedy. Well, I'm a big fan of laughing...and the two go hand in hand so you do the math.
Favorite musicIt's easier to point out which flavors I don't like, heavy metal, elevator music, classical is nice, but usually puts me to sleep, and that hard core rap stuff just doesn't sit well with me.
Favorite booksJames & the Giant Peach. Yes, it was the first real book I remember checking out of the library as a kid and I loved it. I'm a fan of Dean Koontz, but haven't read anything by him lately. Anything I DO read, has got to grab my attention right away. I'm in the middle of reading a book called Gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson. It's a great book about a woman born in alabama that "accidentally" kills some high school jock that had his way with one too many cheerleaders. She covered it up and left the state, never to return. Sad part, I haven't finished reading it. The only time I'll have to read is when I'm sitting on a plane. We'll see.

The squish of mud between your toes; how would you live your life as a frog?

Frogs don't have toes.
