| Introduction | In April 2009, at the age of 34 I was diagnosed with Lupus. Four weeks later I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lupus Nephritis. I had been married less than a year when I received my diagnosis, and am the mother to two very active tweens. My world as I know it was turned upside down.
