Introduction	This blog is an ongoing story about finding my place in the culinary world. After working the line at a high end French restaurant, I decided to rethink what I love about food. My culinary peers often ask me if I miss the rush of service. The answer is yes. But the rush isn’t what I am in it for. I love helping people celebrate family, friends, food, and precious time. I have the opportunity to further explore this passion by being the cook on an old wooden schooner in Maine, being a private chef who travels with a family and their friends, and working at food and wine events around the country. On the side, I enjoy cooking for those I love, apprenticing with local artisans (from chocolatiers to butchers), developing recipes, and exploring my potential as a food writer.
