Introduction Some short-term missionaries build houses. Others dig wells. My gifting lies in building up people, particularly those called to ministry. While doing Ph.D. research in England, France, and other parts of Europe, I gained a deep love for the European people. The Christian Church in Europe used to be thriving with missionary zeal. Today, it's something far different. My longing is to see a renewal in the European Church unlike anything we've seen in centuries. I believe it will come, in part, through the training of Christian leaders. That mission is at the core of this Initiative. I hold a D.Min. in spiritual formation from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in historical theology from Brunel University/ London School of Theology. I currently serve as the Senior Pastor of Centenary United Methodist Church in Danville, KY and as an Affiliate Professor in the School of Theology and Formation at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY.
