| Introduction | I am a God-loving Christian woman whose life focus is my children and two grand daughters, second only to Jesus. I am a retired emergency room RN and medic. I went from the fast pace life I have always known to a medically disabled slow track with dystonia and arthritis. Since age 14, I worked on a regular basis. I am glad I had the opportunity. So, now, I am blooming where I am planted! I started sewing at age 13. I have made a few quilts in my lifetime, along with bridal wear, pageant dresses, and childrens clothing. My favorite thing to do now during the good days is to upcycle or repurpose things. |
| Interests | Angel Kisses are things I began to find from my now 7 and 6 yr old grandgirls beginning when they were very young. They didn't intentionally leave them in those places for me to find...just where I came across them after they had left Mimi's house. It might be a toy under my bed pillow, an item in my shoe, a scarf tied with a ponytail holder that was now a barbie dress in the couch cushion. The latest was Sponge Bob's yellow paper money laid atop my silverware tray. I love those girls beyond measure and I felt as if I had been kissed by an angel when I came across them. How they bring smiles to my face...even between visits... |
