| Introduction | Karinn Martel was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada to a rich heritage of French and Ojibway parents. Her father moved the family to Ontario when she was ten, a move she didn't take willingly. She draws on her life experiences for the main characters of this series. She has written two children's books for her children when they were young (unpublished) and some of her poems have been published online. This is her first full length novel which includes a poem at the beginning of each chapter. Book one of the series, Blood Kisses, Blood Tears has been out since Nov 10/10 and the second installment is due Sept/11. She is also currently writing a children's series in her spare time |
