| Introduction | Hello all. I have decided to branch far outside my technological comfort zone to start this travel blog, documenting my (hopefully) many travel adventures to come. This blog is intended to keep my friends and family informed of my whereabouts and the goings-on in my rather hectic and spontaneous life. I must also tell all of you the reason for my blog URL name (which is probably not the technical term for it). I decided to call my blog "My Big Boots" in honour of A.A. Milne, and his timeless Hundred Acre Wood tales. In one of his stories (I believe it was "Winnie-the-Pooh", but don't quote me on that), he says the following: “When you see someone putting on his Big Boots, you can be pretty sure that an Adventure is going to happen.” Thus, the inspiration for my blog.
