| Introduction | I am a 35 year old woman. I am faith-driven, and have learned that God must be my guide. I truly have no better option. I am a trained teacher attempting to change career courses. I am enjoying my journey into the field of nursing. I have a terrific family, and great friends, and I am thankful for their love and support. I have two amazing children who have completely rocked my world! My daughter is 11, and is quickly on her way to being taller and smarter than me. My son is 9, and is one of the most unique and lovable little people I have ever met. I am divorced after a decade-plus marriage, and struggle daily to love and pray for my ex like I know I should. Despite the pain and ugliness I knew through that experience, I am healed and better for it and am truly happy. I am also proud of the fact that he and I are co-raising our children with peace and love, and free from the shame and hurt that so many children of divorce often experience. I am madly in love with my new husband Stephen, and can sum up our relationship simply by stating that it is absolutely a God thing. I am flawed, but I am present for this journey, and hope to learn and love as much of it as I can. |
