Introduction My name is Yenn..No it does not have any meaning. I need to make up a cool story about how I acquired it in a sword fight or something, but it would take to much effort to keep the story straight. I asked my mother about how I got my name and she was unsure about it. I am still amazed that my mother who is a rational practical individual allowed my dad to name me. Don't get me wrong, I have always liked my name (except as a kid when you go to Disneyland but you can't find your name on one of those cool miniature license plate) but although it is simple it is unusual and doesn't quite fit me. When people see my name they envision a petite Asian girl but instead when the meet me I am this large black man. I am sure some never get over the shock. But I digress. I asked my father about my name a few years before he passed away and he explained that in the town that he was raised there was not a great variety in the names that people choose. He told me that his best friend had the same first and middle name as him and that he had always vowed that his son would have a different name than everyone else. Now how he settled on YENN I don't think even he remembered.
