| Introduction | I've always held an interest in writing, and known that I want to enter a related field, but used to abhor the possibility of becoming a journalist. I considered journalism to be too strict and dull a form of writing. However, that all changed when I became interested in the music scene. To make a long story short, I began contributing to a music Web site, for which I interviewed bands like Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., etc., and henceforth decided that perhaps journalism wasn't all that drab. Following this revelation, I took Journalism as a freshman, became Arts editor for the school paper as a sophomore and now, as a junior, am Features editor. I definitely want to pursue journalism (possibly that of the music variety) as a career, and hope to attend the journalism school at Maryland in order to launch said career. |

| Favorite movies | Any and all...It ranges from Hard Candy to Penelope. |
| Favorite music | Alternative music, mostly local artists (ie: Hotspur, THE HINT, The Baby Grand) but also more mainstream bands (My Chemical Romance). |
| Favorite books | Chick lit, sadly enough :) ie: Bass Ackwards and Belly Up, The Clique, etc., etc. |
