| Introduction | I am a teacher working in an English primary school. I came into teaching later in life after almost 20 years in industry. Teaching is the most inspirational vocational job and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with children over the last five years. I recommend it to anyone who is thinking of making a similar move. However, since coming into teaching I have become increasingly astonished by the amount of pressure that teachers and heads have to deal with that has simply nothing to do with educating children. I hope to sound off regularly on such matters. |
