It all started listening to a 50,000 watt radio station broadcasting from the upper midwest to a canary yellow 1968 Chrysler Newport parked in the foothills of the Sandia Mts near Tejaras Canyon, N.M. We were listening to the radio play by play of MN Northstars Hockey Games "... J.P. Parise, Danny O'Shea, Cesare Maniago, etc...." and enjoying looking at stars in the crisp black night sky of my first New Mexican winter. -Plainsense
