Introduction	I opened Simply Books in February 2006 with my Mum Joyce. We both love books and as Pocklington didn't have a bookshop we decided we would open one! It really is as simply as that. We have been open for nearly three years now and we love it. Our biggest challenge was letting people know we exist and slowly word is spreading. 2009 is going to be a big year. After the success of the Pocklington Book Festival this year I am really going to work hard to put Simply Books on the Book Map and will do my best to make Pocklington the Literary Capital of East Yorkshire. Think Big is my motto!
