Introduction | First and foremost, I'm a writer. Secondly - I'm a geek. Otherwise, all I can say is that I'm fairly superficial - in that I define myself in what I have. However, if you look at my book and CD collection - you can find out a lot about me. If I need to express myself to someone, I will do it in a mix CD. I am a slave to ritual. I have created my own Sunday ritual, which is as close to church as I'm willing to get right now - hanging out at The Meeting Place Coffee House, listening to CDs on my headphones and reading the New York Times. So - it's pretty close to the ritual of church - there is a building (coffee house), hymnals (whatever is in my CD player) and sacraments (coffee, instead of cheap wine or grape juice). |

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
The conventional way - tilt my head to the left or right and wait for the warm sensation in the ears.
