Introduction First and foremost, I'm a writer. Secondly - I'm a geek. Otherwise, all I can say is that I'm fairly superficial - in that I define myself in what I have. However, if you look at my book and CD collection - you can find out a lot about me. If I need to express myself to someone, I will do it in a mix CD. I am a slave to ritual. I have created my own Sunday ritual, which is as close to church as I'm willing to get right now - hanging out at The Meeting Place Coffee House, listening to CDs on my headphones and reading the New York Times. So - it's pretty close to the ritual of church - there is a building (coffee house), hymnals (whatever is in my CD player) and sacraments (coffee, instead of cheap wine or grape juice).

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?

The conventional way - tilt my head to the left or right and wait for the warm sensation in the ears.
