| Introduction | As this blog implies, I live in the Berkshires and have for about 20 years and in Lenox specifically. I have also lived in this state for many decades. One of the features of the "stat counter" is that you sometimes see that people that find this blog while they are searching for information on the Berkshires. Things like, what happens when it rains at Tanglewood or are there any shortcuts, hiking trails or running routes or where the half price ticket booth is or other things you look for when visiting. If you find on Google what you are looking for great. If not, fee free to click the contact me option on my profile or at the bottom of this page and ask me a question on the area. I'll try to tell you what I know and also tell you what I don't or perhaps refer you to someone who does. My blog is an outlet for writing and observations of life. More recently this seems to have become reflections about my regular morning runs. Most of the pictures here are, unless noted, from within the Berkshires of Massachusetts. | Favorite Movies | I have a few that I like but no longer have an absolute favorite. Picking favorites gets tougher with age and experience. |
| Favorite Music | Gospel, jazz, classical, "new age", folk- it is more the sound of the music than the type. What ever seems to grab hold and lift you up is what I like. |
| Favorite Books | I always have a hard time with this one because there are so many. |
