Introduction	I have taken the advice of others in the literary sector, realizing the importance of my web presence. Thus far, if this blog has done anything for me in the way of advancing my writing career, it has proven my humanness, and that is an important attribute for a writer to have, because if a reader cannot connect and relate with a writer, they will not read his work. Upon completing my novel, "Special," I discussed with a colleague the steps I needed to take to get published. One suggestion was to try blogging. I have a lot of respect for her talents as a writer and as a reputed member of the literary society, so I took her advice seriously. I was creating my website at the time, and then became involved with querying agents and publishers, local writing groups, and other projects to enhance my writing experience and career. Since the blogging didn't come natural to me, it lost priority, but not importance. As my career path changed so has my blog's priority. Once again, I feel its importance--perhaps more than ever.
