| Introduction | Christopher Tisler is a Superintendent in the drilling fluids industry and a software entrepreneur based in Chico, CA. Originally from Detroit, MI, he joined the U.S. Army at 17, serving as an Infantryman in Friedberg, Germany. The discipline and resilience developed during his military service laid the foundation for his successful career in the oilfield and technology sectors. Tisler began his career in the oilfields of Michigan as a roughneck, handling physically demanding tasks such as maintaining equipment and assisting in drilling operations. Simultaneously, he pursued studies in Computer Information Systems, eventually leading him to create innovative technology for the oil and gas industry. Over the past decade, He has developed two software companies and five mobile apps, including the successful White Tie Fantasy, an auction-based daily fantasy sports platform he sold in 2018. In addition to his tech ventures, Tisler has built a successful career in drilling fluids. As Superintendent at Geo Drilling Fluids, he leads efforts to improve drilling efficiency by automating processes and implementing data-driven strategies. |
