| Introduction | Thirty-odd years ago I was uprooted from my native land and re-potted in an English seaside town where most of the time there is no sea. I now have a well-established split American-English personality. I suffer greatly from cool/cold/wet English summers and for 18 years have been able to escape to the mostly warm sunny French countryside. I have three grown sons and have not lost the finely honed skills that can drive them crazy. Most of the time The Man is on to me, but I have not entirely lost the ability to drive him crazy as well. Life is good! |
