| Introduction | My Best Friend introduced me to paper scrap-booking. I just loved it, working with my hands and creating something memorable had me hooked. But a few years later after having a few kids there was no way I could leave my 'Creation Table' covered with scrap-booking stuff....lol! Again my friend encouraged me to vote for her in a couple of digital design challenges. I was blown away by the talent and generosity of these designers. I slowly started checking out the digital scrap-booking forums of my favorite stores and was welcomed with open arms. I realized that from time to time the Designers and their CT Members would have contests or RAKs on their Blogs. I found a freebie kit and decided that I would create my first LO, it happened to be a Christmas Card. I used GIMP at the time and was amazed at how easy it was to create this card.....with no paper mess! Wow...I absolutely became totally head over heels addicted. |
