| Introduction | Michael Mitchell, aka Micmit, was born in Richmond, VA and rasied Greenville, SC. He studied illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art where he got his BFA. He is inspired by philosophy and art history with a particular fondness for comics. He spends his time drawing, reading, and playing guitar. © Michael Mitchell |
| Interests | I'm definitely somebody who knows how to keep himself occupied so I've developed a lot of hobbies. I love playing guitar, I'm not really any good, but I know enough to keep me happy. I also have my 3rd Degree Blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. Of course my real passion are the arts. Specifically drawing and illustration. I'm working to become a comic artist. I pretty much breath comics. I draw them read them, read books about them, and in my spare time I like to do some research into the history of comics. There's just something beautiful about combining word and image to tell a story. I also do a little bit of sculpture. |
