Introduction	Born in Marin County, California. Attended UC Berkeley & earned BSEE/CS. Worked for ROLM Corp from 1979 to 1987 as Field Service Engineer, Western Regional Field Service Manager, International Product Support Manager & International Product Integrity Manager. Joined StrataCom in 1987 as Product Support Manager. Became Director - Product Support, Publications and Training. Moved to Puget Island in 1993 and began telecommuting as International Partner Support Manager. Retired from Cisco Systems in 1997. Sailed to Mexico and back from Puget Island twice, logging over 10,000 miles at sea. Appointed to Wahkiakum County Fair Board in 2003, elected President of Board in 2007, 2008 & 2009. Resigned June 2010. Became Realtor with Lower Columbia Realty in 2006 and became Associate Managing Broker in 2009. Appointed to the Wahkiakum County Board of equalization in 2009 and was elected Chair. Resigned June, 2010 and filed as a candidate for Wahkiakum County Assessor. Married to Mirjami Laukkanen.
