My heritage is such that my maternal Grandmother received a settlement for the travesties that occurred as a result of the Trail of Tears. My life is an ongoing attempt to put together that heritage with its beliefs and cultures; to apply them to my world as it exists on this earth plane now, and celebrate it. |
