Additionally, I build one-of-a-kind music related events for boutique businesses and brands under my event management company, The Jeanie Weems Company, LLC. Formerly a Senior Vice-President with ASCAP, a performance rights organization, where I was tasked with building and managing the Society’s entry into the urban music market, the profitable Rhythm & Soul department., I like to build things: strategies, conversations, independence, knowledge, relationships, and integrity,. | Favorite music | All kinds!, I grew up with jazz but always loved show tunes. I'm a card-carrying member of the hip-hop generation, pop music diva, and respect the lyricism in country music. Working with composers early in my career launched a continuing love affair with film and television music. Rock and R&B are a part of my everyday soundtrack. Big fan of Latin music, particularly, Latin jazz! |
