Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
The obvious answer is to pretend the bow is some kind of stringed instrument... I think I would rather try and convince my foes that I don't need arrows by drawing my bow string back and claiming the bow is magic and it will summon magical arrows when the string is released. Really though I don't know what being a bard has to do with running out of arrows?
