| Introduction | I finished my undergraduate degree at Idaho State University. My major is Anthropology with a minor in Mass Communication. I transferred to this school from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. I have been working at a Pre-Classic Mayan Archaeological site in Guatemala, C.A, called El Mirador, as the archival videographer over the course of four years. I was awarded the District 5400 Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year. Currently I am applying my scholarship to pursue a MA in Filmmaking at the London Film School in London. As an emerging visual anthropologist I want to create films/videos that address environmental, social, cultural, and historical issues as an artistic tool to raise awareness and to preserve what remains for our future generations. |
