Introduction I am humbled by and in awe of my children every day. I have been blessed in ways that I am not even aware of yet. I think too much. Kindness is THE most important thing. There is never too much love. I can give without expectations. I have a tendency to be insecure and unsure of myself, even when I know better. I am gullible. I expect others to let me in, but I have trouble returning the favor. I try to stand alone when I should give in and lean a little. Childbirth is the most empowering, wonderful, intense, joyful, emotional, poignant, and beautiful experience that I have had the pleasure to endure…I was put on this earth for that reason. I hate to quit…even if it is to my detriment. I rush too much. I have no sense of direction. I am hypersensitive to other’s moods. I spend far too much time worrying. My life is better than I thought it was. My heart has been broken and I am better for the experience. My world is small and I prefer it that way. Soup warms my soul. I am able to trust again. Birds love bees. The Space Cadet is spacey, The Badger is vicious, and Mini-me is my unexpected gift from above. I find peace, love, joy, humility, strength, and faith in their sweet faces.
Interests My babies, natural childbirth and breastfeeding (I am a childbirth educator), reading, gardening (most recently, though I don't think I could grow a single thing on my own), chicken rearing (lol)
Favorite Movies My movie experiences are limited...Anything by M. Night Shyamalan (The Villiage, Unbreakable, Signs, The Sixth Sense, Lady in the Water), The American President, Ever After, Braveheart, Gladiator, Gone With the Wind, Great Expectations, 50 First Dates, The Wedding Singer
Favorite Music There is no possible way to do justice to this section...here's what's coming to mind at the moment: Dave Matthews Band, Eminem, Ray Charles, Nina Simone, Annie Lennox, The Wallflowers, 311, Stained, Louis Armstrong, Alanis Morrisette, Maroon 5, Lifehouse, Three Doors Down, Nickelback, and most recently Scott Strickland, Ryan Davis Band, and Mr. Cotton:) Just good stuff...genre is unimportant to me. The lyrics are what's important to me and catches my attention.
Favorite Books I have several....many of which just don't come to mind at this point....I'll get back to you on that.
