Introduction	Hi! My name is M'Lisa Hansen; I live in Denton, TX with my wonderful husband and we have six children--and one darling grandson. I have started this blog for a couple of reasons. First, when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia over 2 years ago my life started to slowly, then very rapidly change. Because this change has ultimately become so dramatic and all-encompassing, and because depression is one of the symptoms of this illness, I have been advised by a very good friend who I have an hourly visit with once a week--(we'll call her Maggie)--to create a Gratitude Journal. So this little Blog is how I've decided to focus on all the wonderful parts of my life that have NOT been touched by the Fibro. (If you look under my INTERESTS, the activities that are in all-caps have disappeared from my life due to this illness). (To cont my intro see FAV. MOVIES BELOW)

Favorite movies	Secondly, I need people; however due to the pain I am in most of the time, and the fact that I have also been diagnosed with just a touch of what we'll call "Hermit-Disorder", I have found that besides my family, I have become very disconnected with a lot of the world and most of the people in it. Not good; or healthy. So I'm going to try and post to my blog every day or two, and if you would like to pop in and say HI, and leave a little bit about what's going on in YOUR life in the comment box, then I will answer you back, and I think that would be just lovely. I would like to point out that this is NOT a Dear Abby Blog; or a Woe-is-Me Blog. This is a "I-just-had-the-wildest-experience-that-I want-to-share!" OR "Have-you-heard-the-one-about..." OR simply "I-am-feeling-so-very-blessed-today-because-of-this-this-and-THIS" Blog. Remember this is my GRATITUDE JOURNAL, okay? The reason I didn't just put this on Facebook is because I HATE Facebook; they're always changing it just when I get it figured out so I end up sending a deep heartfelt message to someone I've never laid eyes on before, and I think the page layout is ugly. Blogger doesn't have a lot of Template choices but it IS better than Facebook. So that's my intro and I would LOVE you to follow my BLOG. Thanks!
Favorite music	Most of the time, I just like beautiful music without words; I just like to listen and be nurtured.
Favorite books	The Scriptures, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Miracle Worker-Script, These is My Words, Winnie-the-Pooh by A.A. Milne, The Secret Garden, Heidi, Little Women, The Moffatts, Isaac's Storm, Some Shakespeare--esp. The Taming of the Shrew, ...I'll add more later--my head's too foggy.
