| Introduction | Of the many things that I have to contend with - parenting, teaching, studying - cooking seems to be the one task that I can complete. There's always something else to grade, another article to read. Laundry never ends, the dishes are always there, the house is always a mess...but after you prepare a meal and it's eaten, it's done. I am on the edge as I teeter-totter between the various roles I play. Somehow, cooking creatively is comforting and pulls me in from "the edge" - wherever that might be. |
