| Introduction | I was born in Colombia; that little South American nation with big problems. However, I only have good memories of my country, my family and my friends. I would go back in a heart-beat, if it was not for my emotional attachment to the U.S. I came to the States at the age of 23 and did not have plans of staying. I was looking to improve my English and therein my chances of landing a good job in Colombia. However, I fell in-love with the United States and its people and I could never get myself to return home to Colombia...
