| Introduction | My name is Katie Jackson and I am 19 years old. I go to Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis and am majoring in Elementary Education. When not in Indy for college, I live with my parents and 24 year old sister who is also a Education major. In the future I hope to have my own classroom full of 3rd Grade students. I chose Elementary Education because I love working with kids and getting them excited about their education. Aside from my school life, I'm a pretty laid back person. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and watching sports, preferably the Boston Celtics. In the summer I mostly work at my job as a Lifeguard, but when I do get free time, I like to go boating and water-skiing. In the winter I'm all about going home for Christmas Break! I live near a ski slope and enjoy the occasional ride down the bunny hills. Other than that my free time consists of homework and the occasional craft project. Not to sound like an old lady, but I love to sew and frequently take trips the craft store. That's me in a nut shell! Hope you enjoy my blog! |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
No, when I open my eyes underwater its mostly because I want to experience a world different from my own. I feel there is a lot of peace and quiet to be had underneath the water.
