| Introduction | I'm 30 years old, married, with two mostly adorable children, ages 9 years and 7 months. I have a rather unmarketable degree in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan and am in progress on a Ph.D. in Food Studies at New York University. I've written articles and reviews for restaurant industry and other publications. My professional interest is in advocating for a sustainable food system in the US, but I'm currently enjoying at-home-mom status (except for the laundry duties), and doing what freelance writing and editing tidbits I pick up on the side. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February. |
