| Introduction | I'm like everyone else. I try to make a living for my family and not make too many mistakes in the process. Like you I wear a lot of different hats. I'm a husband, father, grandfather. I serve on the board of several different organizations and I'm an Elder of the local church. I have retired after thirty-four years as an educator, coach, and bus driver. To say that we are busy is an understatement. I’m afraid that we are so busy trying to make a living that we have forgotten the one that we should be living for. I have never thought of myself as a great thinker or philosopher yet there are many things about this life that truly concern me. This blog is my way of voicing some of those concerns and observations, if only to myself. It is my prayer that you too will gain from the thoughts and ideas that are presented here. We may have a difference of opinion on many things but it is my hope that in all things spiritual that we will let the supreme authority always be the guide (2Tim. 3:16-17). |
