Introduction Joyce Patterson’s original, one-of-a-kind and limited edition, cloth character dolls (FabricImages by Joyce) have appeared in many U. S. and International juried exhibits and competitions resulting in more than 100 awards and numerous appearances in magazines and books. She sells her dolls directly and invites inquiries. They are also sold at national and international shows and in shops and galleries. The dolls range from $100 to $1,200, plus shipping and applicable tax. Joyce also accepts commissions. These require a 50% deposit and a minimum of four to six weeks for completion. Professional associations include the Original Doll Artists Council of America (ODACA), the Texas Association of Original Doll Artists (TAODA), the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild (PDMAG), and the International Association of Doll Artists (IADA). In addition to membership in the Brazosport and Galveston Art Leagues and the Lone Star Art Guild, she is also a member of the Brazoria County Doll Club, which is affiliated with the international United Federation of Doll Clubs, Inc. (UFDC).
