| Introduction | From Toronto, Ontario, Suburban Sunrise's music can best be described as "a reggae-dub-rock, west coast vibe - with the diversity of Toronto." The group set up a mini tour of Ontario/Quebec for fall 2010 in anticipation of a late 2010 / early 2011 release of a two part EP; one half acoustic, one half electric. This release, entitled “Unplugged and Unemployed / Pogey Paid For My Amp” contains a range of reggae/folk flavored tunes from “We’ll Sing”, a Spanish influenced love song, to “Unplugged & Unemployed”, a social message about corporate elitists’ distance from spiritual truths. |
