| Introduction | Bullying has always been around, but it seems to have gotten out of control in recent years, leading innocent children and teens to withdrawal, violence, and even suicide. The recent outbreak of children and teens who commit suicide as a direct result of being bullied has lead to the coining of the word “Bullycide”. Bullycide is a nation-wide problem. Something MUST be done to stop this epidemic! We need to unite and stand up - become Upstanders to prevent, stop, and heal the chronic harm that bullying causes. SWAG is all about putting the power for positive change in the hands of the people who are most affected by bullying: youth! Young people that live in the reality of school life everyday deserve a voice and a leadership role in preventing bullying. Join us, become an Upstander, and help start a revolution against bullying! |
