SEPTEMBER 2008 The 14th Degree and Beyond, Inc. was established in 1998, and incorporated as a not for profit in January 2001, based out of New York City. Our organization and magazine is for all original women, so-called women of color, regardless of culture, religion, education, belief system or school of thought. The objective of The 14th Degree and Beyond, Inc. is to function as a bridge of communication and awareness for original women around the globe. We are a group of peaceful, loving, cultural sisters who strive to rebuild our impoverished communities – for the sake of the Black man, woman and child – based on the foundation of knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and cultural refinement.
