Introduction	I’m an award-winning, bilingual journalist with more than sixteen years' experience. My area of expertise is the coverage of health care and medical science. I am the author of "Special Investigation" and in-depth coverage on diverse topics in the health field. Currently I’m the Health Editor of El Diario/La Prensa, the nation’s oldest Spanish language daily newspaper and the largest in New York City. Also, I have a weekly video segment about Health for my newspaper’s website. Currently I’m a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where I obtained my bachelor degree in Journalism. Currently I reside in New York City.
