Introduction | So who’s me? Basically I started playing with Computers when I was 13 –so we’re probably talking about year 1985- writting my own software in Pascal, C & SuperBasic –something like Visual Basic today- on a Sinclair QL computer, which actually still own Packaged in my garage. Four years later I discovered a very early version of today’s websites called Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) and joined using a 300 baud MODEM the FidoNet BBS network, which was something like today’s Internet but not always online because every connection costed Money. I studied Computer Science Engineering in U.P.M. and have worked as technical writer for different media, as development consultant, IT support. In 2000 I got an excellent opportunity to move on Network Security (Firewalls, Internet Services, etc.) where I remained for almost 6 years. Then I moved to security software vendor Industry where I feel happy right now, working for Sophos, the Next Great Security Company! |
