| Introduction | Venerable Thunhitiyawe Dhammaloka, the Chief Incumbent of the Sri Sambuddhaloka Vihara, Japan, started his mission in helping the devotees of Buddhism in the year of 2000, with the guidance of Most Venerable Banagala Upatissa Nayaka Thero, the Chief Sangha Nayaka of Japan and President of Maha Bodhi Society of Sri Lanka. e spent nearly 3 years at the Lankaji temple in Japan helping to spread the teachings of the Buddha. In 2008, he came to his mother land, Sri Lanka where he was able to engage in many activities which were carried out by the Maha Bodhi Agrasrawaka Maha Vihara in Colombo. |
