| Introduction | I, Carmela Patterson (Mel) am a Wife, Mother of 5, Grandmother of 11, Great Grandmother of 3. I am a retired CCU RN-was dedicated and loved it while I did it. Since retiring from nursing had worked part time for a Photographer, and recently retired from Home Book Business Sales with Half.com and Amazon.com - which was a GREAT RIDE while it lasted 5 years. Am now somwhat active in Church, active member of the Legion of Mary on Tuesday evenings in our Parish and loving it all. I am on the "Bucket Brigade" aka The Altar Society, cleaning the Church as needed, generally a couple of times a month as we have a nice number of helpers. Also, I am a Lay Franciscan -Professed 11-12-06. Never really fancied myself a writer but in the last couple of years, I began some writings and recently began writing poetry, all in Praise of God. Enjoy traveling having visited Iceland, England,and France (for 1 day,lol). Visited Niagara Falls, Toronto, and in USA, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone Park, Las Vegas, the Florida Keys, Colonial Willimasburg, Jamestown, for example. |
