Introduction	My family and I moved to Northern California from Northern New Jersey in 1990, and am still bedazzled by this part of the country. Although I often miss NYC, life is pretty darn good out here.

Favorite books	The Help, Bel Canto, State of Wonder, (anything by Ann Patchett), Steig Larsson's series, The Yellow House, The Poisonwood Bible and all Barbara Kingsolver's novels
