| Introduction | I am a "Mormon" who wants a more Amish lifestyle. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by Amish communities and I've always deeply admired their lifestyle. I know very little about their actual religion, just about their way of life. As a child, I wanted to grow up and be Amish - at least to live like them. I am deeply rooted in my religion (I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, A.K.A. "Mormons") which supports, in so many ways, the type of life led by the Amish. So, this blog is dedicated to anything I want it to be about! :O) Luke and I both will share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences in trying to be better people, parents, citizens, stewards, saints, spouses, etc. Sometimes it'll just be family musings and/or rantings. Regardless, I hope you enjoy a peek into our quirky little (albeit, growing) family. (I should mention that this is a Halloween picture in my home-made pilgrim costume - I don't really dress quite like this in everyday life!) |

Tara's! She's the only other person I ever call other than my mom (and I *KNOW* that phone number) and if I'm looking it up, that tells you how often I call! :O) Love you Tara!
