Introduction	This blog is about our attempt at moderate self sufficiency, and to hone our skills at homemade food and goods. We are "suburban homesteading" just north of Philadelphia, PA. We both work full time. S is a construction estimator for a real estate developer and J is an Electrical Engineer. We have just under an acre of land, which we have owned for about 5 years.
