Introduction | I love all things material (by that I mean fabric). I have loved fabric since I was old enough to understand what fabric was and what it could do. Quilting was a natural progression for me because I love to sew. I have a love of traditional piecing and reproduction fabrics. My favorite type of quilts are scrap quilts. They remind me of Grandma. |
Interests | I have 3 major passions in my life...Curtis, fabric/sewing, and food. I also enjoy doing primitive embroidery, crocheting and knitting. Occasionally it is fun to scrapbook and stamp cards. Love to travel and do spontaneous shopping. |
Favorite Movies | Sound of Music, Pillow Talk with Doris Day, Overboard with Goldie Hawn, Dan in Real Life. At this point I have seen Miss Potter. A most endearing movie that spoke to my heart. I would have to rate this as my new favorite. |
Favorite Music | Neil Diamond Hot August Night is an awesome album and Josh Groban is also a favorite. I grew up listening to Johnny Cash because my mom listened a lot to him and I love his music. Favorite female singer would have to be Martina McBride. She just has a beautiful voice. |
Favorite Books | Well to start with--Harry Potter books are a great escape from reality. Also just read the Twilight series--another great escape. Last year I read the Elm Creek Quilting books--loved them. I also read a series called the Pennsylvania Dutch Murder Mysteries about this Mennonite woman and they were hysterical. Also enjoy John Grisham books. |
