The aim is to contribute ideas that could transform the monetary and financial system in the interests of working people. Contributors to Political Finance are critical of private and individual financial mechanisms and look favourably at strengthening public and collective provision of finance. Political Finance offers a forum for those sympathetic to organised labour and to organisations that seek alternative monetary and financial mechanisms. It aims to generate information for activists and others who are interested in reforming contemporary finance. It is also relevant to all political organisations concerned with the workings of the capitalist economy. |
